Sunday, August 2, 2026 is the 44th Anniversary of Eastern Avenue Baptist Church. We encourage you to be with us as we celebrate the blessings of the Lord on this special day!
We give GOD the glory for all that has been accomplished over the years in the lives of people who have been touched by the ministry of EABC.
We are coming to the end of SEEDLINE MONTH at EABC and we are thankful for the faithfulness of God’s people to give to the Seedline Ministry. In July of 2017, we had just completed the first 500,000 copies of John and Romans assembled. In July of 2026, we have now surpassed 4,775,000 copies. To GOD be the glory, great things HE hath done!
This coming Saturday evening is our Teachers and Workers Meeting. ALL Sunday School, AWANA, Nursery and Junior Church workers are invited to join us at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall for a light meal and meeting. We are praying for Spiritual and numerical growth in our ministries this fall.
Sunday, August 9th has been designated as “Back To School Sunday”. We would like to recognize and pray for all of our school teachers, workers and students as they return to classes for the new school year. In the evening service we will be recognizing 4 students who have completed the 3 year course of Faith Bible Institute and will be receiving diplomas. We commend them for their accomplishment!.
The AWANA children’s ministry begins again on August 12th and the fall semester of Faith Bible Institute begins on Tuesday, August 18th. The Bible Institute classes are available either Tuesday morning from 9:00 – 12:00 or in the evening from 6:30 – 9:30. If you prefer, the classes are also offered on-line. I heartily recommend this course for every Christian. It is well worth the cost and the effort and you will be glad that you chose to participate.
We are praying for a wonderful season of ministry, service, and fellowshiop in the days ahead. May God continue to bless us and to meet our needs as we seek to move “Forward in the Faith.”
